Sarah Carlson, M.D. Dr. Sarah Prince Carlson joined Davidson Family Medicine in 2001 after completion of her residency at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. She is a graduate of Wright State University School of Medicine and is board certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Carlson enjoys treating patients of all ages with an emphasis on preventive care. Craig White, M.D. Dr. Craig White is a familiar face to many Lake Norman residents. He grew up in the area, attending North Mecklenburg High School and Davidson College. He then obtained his medical degree from Harvard Medical School. After completing his residency in Family Medicine, he returned to Lake Norman where he has practiced medicine for 20 years. Dr. White has been chosen by his physician colleagues for the past 2 years as one of only 2 Mecklenburg County family physicians to be named as "Best Doctors of America". Debbie Witkin, F.N.P.  Debbie Witkin is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner who is a 1999 Master's Graduate of Vanderbilt University. She has worked in family practice in the Lake Norman area since then, delivering comprehensive primary care including preventive health services, disease management, and patient education. Debbie particularly enjoys working with women and adolescents.
